A licensee is subject to renewal every other year on the licensee's birthday and expires unless renewed. Massage Therapists are required to obtain a total of 24 hours every 2 years.

Arizona Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, during the two-year period immediately preceding license expiration, a licensee applying for a renewal license must complete 24 hours or more of Massage Therapy continuing education. A licensee may complete a maximum of 12 continuing education hours from a distance learning format. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Licensed massage therapists must renew their license on or before your birthday.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $95. Licensees are required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education completion.
